Getting started
To enrol a student at Yanchep Beach Primary School you will need to:
Complete an Application for Enrolment
Provide the required documentation and evidence:
Birth certificate
Up-to-date Immunisation History Statement
Visa documentation if born overseas.
Family Court Orders to be made available (if applicable).
Proof of address in the form of;
o Rental agreement showing the parents name and the address
o Land purchase document showing parents name and the address
o House purchase document showing parents name and the address
o Electricity bill showing parents name and the address
o Gas bill showing parents name and the address
Please note we do not accept phone accounts, driver’s licences, concessions cards etc.
Once your application is accepted, an enrolment pack will need to be completed along with medical forms, media forms and internet permission forms.
If your child was born 1 July 2020 – 30 June 2021 they are eligible for Kindy 2025. Please visit the office to complete a 2025 Kindergarten Application form. You will need to provide a copy of the documents listed above.
Kindergarten students attend school based on a nine day fortnight - Monday, Tuesday & alternate Wednesdays, or, Thursday, Friday & alternate Wednesdays.

Requirements & Policy
The enrolment of a student is governed by the School Education Act and requires a minimum of two pieces of approved evidence. If you would like to know more about enrolment in a government school, please refer to the Department of Education WA Enrolment Policy document linked below.

2024 YBPS Class Placement Policy
Yanchep Beach Primary School aims to demonstrate a high level of commitment, responsibility, and duty of care to ensure we nurture the aspirations of every child and help them reach their full potential at school. When planning classes for the school year and allocating children to these classes the greatest care is taken to ensure all foreseeable issues are addressed and that the composition of classes supports all students. Please note: The above enrolment forms apply to pre-primary through to year 6. Kindy enrolment forms must be collected from the office.
